Depending on the facilities available and flock size, ultrasound scanning for pregancy diagnosis in sheep may take several hours. A drawer has been designed to be placed at the end of the sheep handling race: the sheep enters the drawer, which allows the lateral movement of the sheep, and thus to be placed in a more easily accesible position for the technician. Therefore, the mobile drawer allows the realization of ultrasound scanning in a large number of sheep in a more comfortable, efficient and fast way.
