Presentation of the results from a Europe-wide survey of farmers, vets, advisors, researchers and lecturers interested in the sheep sector.
Respondents prioritised their needs and challenges regarding sheep health, nutrition and management, for ewes, replacement animals and lambs. They also ranked the information sources they use to access technical information. This survey allowed the identification of the main needs and difficulties faced by sheep farmers, with the ultimate goal of improving sheep profitability through health and nutrition.
