Just after lambing, the sheep and lamb have to be properly identified, and several practices have to be implemented in order to guarantee the health and welfare of the newborn lamb, such as the disinfection of the navel. Particularly within the framework of breeding schemes and recording programs, the filiation of the lamb is crucial, and the sex and weight of the lamb is recorded. These practices require the systematic availability of certain tools and products: scales, identification tags, spray can, etc. The utilization of an easy-to-carry portable device, such as a tray, allows keeping all this material together, taking them confortably to the site where it is required, and using them in an efficient and effective way. The tray can also be placed upon the barriers within the barn, and to take other tools or products for other management practices.
