Terminals of ecographs conceived for cattle have to be modified to allow a gynecological exam of ewes. In fact in this species it is difficult to handle the device to reach the reproductive apparatus. This issue can be overcome by prolonging the terminal of the device. The vets of Sementusa made a home-made extension by hot shaping a plastic tube of 25 mm of diameter and 30 cm long. This cheap tip allows to save money respect to buying industrial extensions that in some devices are not available.
